Remember a few weeks ago when Christina Applegate showed us her collection of walking sticks? Well, we finally got to see which stick she picked for her FIRST public appearance since being diagnosed with MS, because she got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. Applegate went with the clear one with a black ribbon candy cane stripe and a black wrist chain.
There were speeches from her "Married...with Children" co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino. And "Dead to Me" co-star Linda Cardellini and creator Liz Feldman. Katy stayed with Christina at the podium during her speech, for support. Christina thanked everyone and joked about her physical condition. Quote, "Oh, by the way, I have a disease. Did you not notice? I'm not even wearing shoes. You're supposed to laugh at that!"
Christina also shared, “I’ve had a really interesting life. The life started as being a little girl waiting in line to see the first Star Wars on this very street at that very theater and looking at these things going, ‘who are these people, what do they do? Do they do something right, do they do something wrong? Whatever it is - I want one, I effing want one!’ and I was 5 years old. So um this day means more to me than you could possibly imagine.”
Post Malone and Swae Lee song, Sunflower, becomes the highest charting certified single in history. Post had this to say about the the honor, “It just - it's so cool … whenever you're happy it makes you a little happier whenever you're sad but kind of brings you out of that mood …I think it's a magical song. And I'm and I'm super honored that it's one of the biggest songs of all time.”
