The Georgia Renaissance Festival Returns with High Energy and Timeless Fun
Georgia Renaissance Festival opens for its 39th season! Enjoy high-energy entertainment, artisan markets, and themed weekends starting April 13th!
The fairytale like village of Newcastle nestled in Fairburn, Georgia is gearing up for the grand reopening of the Georgia Renaissance Festival, this journey back in time to the days of Camelot is filled with delightful entertainment, artisan markets thrilling games and can't miss food and drink. The festivities kick off tomorrow, and will be open each Saturday and Sunday until June, plus check out all the new themed days, entertainment acts and ticket specials here.
Dave Dorrell, the creative mind behind the festival for nearly 15 years gave us an exclusive sneak peek of what's to come this year including returning act, Rota Temporis - a 5 member Italian singing group - "Super high energy pipes and drums," Dorrell exclaimed. "You know, they're young Italian guys, and for some reason, people just can't get enough of them!" Dorrell also shared Zoltan The Adequate will also be entertaining Festival goers with his unique approach to magic that is sure to keep fans in awe of the Renaissance magic.
The 39th season will also include a returning act of a seasoned Renaissance performer, Tuey, who's 40 years of performance experience will shock fans with his mix of jaw-dropping danger mixed with family-friendly fun. Returning acts include Barely Balanced, The Joust, a special Pub Crawl event, Birds of Prey and more. Check out the full entertainment line up here.
The Georgia Renaissance Festival opens April 13 and runs through June 2nd and is open only on Saturdays and Sundays.
