After putting 2023 to bed with the release of her fourth studio album, Scarlet, Doja Cat, who ended up having to explain to her fans that her music is not meant for children -- “im rapping about c** why are you bringing your offspring to my show…” -- the rapper doubled down with the release of Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, which included seven new tracks including two new collaborations, one with Teezo Touchdown and another with A$AP Rocky. Sabrina Carpenter started off her amazing year fully enthralled with her Saltburn beau Barry Keoghan, and after announcing her Short n’ Sweet era would begin that summer, the singer quickly shot up the charts with her first single of the year, “Please, Please, Please,” which earned her her very first number 1 hit. “I always knew deep down that this was something I would do with my life, and I didn't ever really doubt that, even when s*** was hitting the 'ceiling fan,'" Carpenter said of her rise to stardom. While out on the road in support of the record, Sabrina gave fans some sweet treats in the form of special guests and surprise songs, and closed out the year with a new Netflix holiday special, Nonsense Christmas. Post Malone kept it pretty darn Country in 2024. He started the year with his Tortured Taylor Swift collab "Fortnite," followed by a Super Bowl appearance, and after that he strapped on his cowboy boots for the foreseeable future, helped along by HARDY, Luke Combs, and of course, Morgan Wallen, whom he collaborated with on his debut Country single, "I Had Some Help." After the release of his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion over the summer, Malone hit the road while steadily releasing more songs as official singles, including Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, and more. 2025 is already shaping up to be an epic year for Posty, as he's set to headline the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April and May, plus he'll be hitting the road on his own 'Big Ass Stadium Tour' featuring Jelly Roll, kicking off in the Spring.

2. Luke Combs
Luke Combs continued to connect with Country fans throughout 2024, which was another highly-successful year for the North Carolina native. As he continued to climb the charts with his current single, “Guy For That” with Post Malone, Combs is reflecting on a successful album release this year for his project, Fathers & Sons, which is a reflection on his experiences being a dad and the bond between parents and their children. While the album saw great success, it was the single he released for the new movie Twisters that gave Luke his biggest numbers this year. The song not only spent 53 cumulative weeks atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart #1 while also reaching #1 on Country radio, but also granted Combs a GRAMMY nomination. Combs also spent a good deal of the year on the road with his record-breaking Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old U.S. Stadium tour, which sold out back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, NJ’s MetLife Stadium, and more. He also headlined a benefit show, Concert for Carolina, alongside Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor which raised more than $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
