Carrie Underwood has plunged into her Vegas residency and she’s giving fans a lot to look forward to with a whole new show, wardrobe and home for the next several months.
Underwood took to social media to show off some glitz and glam surrounding the opening night of her new residency at the brand-new Resorts World Theatre. The 38-year old shined in a black, skin-tight jumpsuit with lace detailing and her styled blonde locks flowing past her waist.
“Finally got to see the theater at @resortsworldlv for the first time this past week, and all the team’s hard work in action,” Underwood captioned a behind the scenes video she snapped of the newly-built 5,000 capacity venue. “It’s all happening!”
Underwood’s residency has proven to be a hot ticket as she recently added 6 shows in May due to high demand. Underwood will continue shows through the rest of December picking back up in the spring, with a number of shows in March, April and May.
"I'm so proud of this show and so happy to finally get to share it with the amazing audiences here in Las Vegas,” Underwood said in a statement.
Her residency is giving more than just good music and a high-energy show. $1 from each ticket sold is donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, an organization that strives to make dreams come true for children suffering life-altering illnesses.
