As fans await this weekend's big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers, theories have been floated that the matchup, as well as the whirlwind romance between KC Tight End Travis Kelce and superstar Taylor Swift is all a ruse. Whether centered on the all-powerful dollar, or a wider political motive as the U.S. election approaches, an underlying vibration of strategy has emerged in many suspicious minds.
'The Boss,' Rick Ross, however, doesn't subscribe to that theory at all. "I don’t think it’s rigged," Ross said of the speculation swirling that the NFL has everything planned out, although he does acknowledge there are plenty of opportunities ready to be seized. "Is it big business? Of course it’s big business. You gotta realize, it comes down to getting money," he adds. "Let’s get some money."
"I’m not gonna say too much because I look forward to being an owner one day,” Ross continued with a hard stare. Regarding the political angle behind the theories, Ross admitted, “That’s that Illuminati talk type s***. It’s sad. That’s the homie’s girl. She’s at the game. They can’t help if she sold 100 million records. She gotta date somebody! They think it's a conspiracy!"
When the topic of Usher performing during halftime arose, Ross added, "She should perform at the Super Bowl too. [Travis] should hit [NFL Commissioner] Roger Goodell right now... 'Yo Rog, let that Usher shine but, this is my girl.'”
