How to order a Shamrock Tea at Starbucks

You don’t have to wait until March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

While Starbuck’s doesn’t have an official menu dedicated to the Irish holiday, Totally the Bomb whipped up the "Shamrock Tea," a secret-menu item that will have you seeing green.

How to Order the Shamrock Tea

1. Order an Iced Venti Green Tea Latte, made with Coconut Milk.
2, Ask for a splash of lemonade.
3. Ask for two scoops of vanilla bean powder.

The base of the drink starts with an iced venti green tea latte with coconut milk. You’ll layer that with a splash of lemonade and 2 scoops of vanilla bean powder.

The drink has the perfect hint of earthy from the matcha, sweet from the vanilla, and a ting of citrus from the lemonade.

Since many parts of the U.S. are still experiencing cold, winter weather leading into March, you can always request the drink to be made hot.

The drink will make your friends green with envy!

It’s always important to remember that the Starbucks Secret Menu consists of fan creations, so be sure to give very detailed instructions to the barista and be patient if it takes a bit longer than your usual go-to order!

Back in November, released an Andes Mint Cold Brew, which isn’t green, per se, but it does have the minty flavor of a Shamrock Shake, the holiday’s usual suspect.

That recipe calls for a Venti Cold Brew, 3 pumps of mocha and 3 pumps of white mocha, regular cold foam with 2 pumps of peppermint syrup blended in and chocolate curls on top.

Or you can just opt for the iconic Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s for a limited-time.

This year, fans will also have an extra lucky charm to satisfy their sweet tooth as the restaurant will once again add relative newcomer the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry to their holiday menu.
