Since the release of her debut album, 19, Adele has always had us in our feels. And now, having bestowed the raw sophistication of 30 upon all of us, the “Oh My God” singer has continued to keep us crying into our glasses of Cabernet.

For all of your favorite songs from Adele, plus music selected based on your love of the “Easy On Me” artist, check out Audacy’s Adele Radio

We’ve hand-selected seven of our favorite songs that span Adele’s discography that make for the perfect soundtrack for your emo, vino-filled evening. Plus, if willing to go the extra mile, we’ve even included suggested wine pairings to go with your listening experience. Cheers!

Check out our top seven tracks below and get to pouring!

7 "Daydreamer"

From the get-go, Adele bottled up the feelings of unrequited love and poured them all out in order to write the lyrics on “Daydreamer.” The song is the first track on her debut. Adele opens the song by describing the simple things she longs for in a partner, when we reach the bridge the words, “there’s no way I could describe him / What I’ve said is just what I’m hoping for,” leaves a relatable void in the listener’s heart.

Pairing suggestion: Decoy by Duckhorn Merlot

6 "Set Fire to the Rain"

Coming off Adele’s sophomore album, 21, “Set Fire to the Rain” is the ultimate breakup track. The song’s emotions build just as the way one would process grief. When finally arriving at anger, this song is ready to swoop in and help you scream through the pain!

Pairing suggestion: 19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon

5 "Chasing Pavements"

Literally, how many times have you sung the words “Should I give up, or should I just keep chasing pavements” while singing at the top of your lungs while driving alone or taking a shower. If your answer was over a dozen times, then we suggest pouring yourself a glass and turning this banger all the way up.

Pairing suggestion: Double Black Red Blend Paso Robles

4 "To Be Loved"

This one is a gut-wrencher. On the more reflective side, Adele’s second to last track on 30 strips away the anger and confronts inner feelings and insecurities. Grappling with sacrifice and love this song begs us to be gentler with ourselves.

Pairing suggestion: Avaline Grenache Blanc

3 "Cry Your Heart Out"

It sounds like an upbeat bop, but Adele’s soulful and smoky vocals and deeply personal lyrics transform the track into an “it’s okay not to be okay” anthem. So go ahead, “Cry your heart out / It’ll clean your face / When you’re in doubt / Go at your own pace.”

Pairing suggestion: Château Gigery 2020 Rosé (Côtes de Provence)

2 "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)"

Adele really let us know she was moving the f*** on with this song. She said “treat her better” and “send my love to your new lover.” This song walked so that Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” could run. And to that, we say, cheers!

Pairing suggestion: Dom Perignon

1 "I Drink Wine"

**Sip, sip, ahh!** We had to conclude with the obvious choice here, Adele’s entire fourth studio album feels like one big sip of smooth Merlot, but “I Drink Wine” hits the nail on the head for us. The song confronts maturing and seeing the world through wiser eyes. While knowledge can be powerful, sometimes having difficult life experiences diminishes the sense of bliss we could achieve when we were younger and less worldly. As Atkins sings, “When I was a child/ Every single thing could blow my mind/ Soaking it all up for fun/ But now I only soak up wine,” we’re left with only one thing to do…grab a glass and soak!

Pairing suggestion: Coppola Diamond Merlot
