Mavs star Luka Doncic to miss time with injury
The Dallas Mavericks have had a rough start to the 2024-25 season, and it's about to get even tougher.
According to reports from NBA insider Shams Charania, Mavs superstar Luka Doncic is set to 'miss time' due to a wrist injury he recently suffered.
Per the report, Doncic will be re-evulated in one week, with what has been diagnosed as a wrist strain his right wrist.
So far this season, Doncic has been at his usual MVP pace statistically, averaging 28.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.
That said, Doncic's shooting numbers have been down from recent years, with the sixth year star shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from three.
Before the injury, the Mavs were sitting at 8-7 on the season, and had won three-straight games to get back above .500.
