Should the Cowboys swap Mike McCarthy for Mike Tomlin?

Mike McCarthy's future in Dallas remains in question, as the weekend came and went without any news regarding his future with the Cowboys.

The lull allowed us, ESPN, Fox and the other national networks to keep the conversation about the Cowboys alive after the team missed the playoffs for the first time since 2020, which Jerry Jones prefers.

One wild suggestion came from former Cowboys legendary coach Jimmy Johnson, who said on NFL on Fox that Dallas and the Pittsburgh Steelers should trade head coaches after the Mike Tomlin-led Steelers were bounced early in the playoffs once again.

While you can't technically trade head coaches, Pittsburgh could simply fire Tomlin and hire McCarthy after his exclusive negotiating window expires with Dallas on Jan. 14, freeing Jones to bring Tomlin to the Cowboys.

Would you want Tomlin more than McCarthy? Shan and RJ discussed the idea on Monday's show.
