The Dallas Cowboys received a lot of backlash from fans and the media for failing to make significant upgrades to the roster last offseason after owner and general manager Jerry Jones said 'We'll be all-in.'
Well, Cowboys fans, it appears that'll be the case once again this coming offseason. Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones revealed at the NFL league meetings on Wednesday afternoon in Las Colinas that the organization is anticipating another slow offseason.
“I think we knew we were gonna have a challenge in [2024] and [2025]. It’s gonna be really, really tight," Jones said bluntly, via Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "We still have some money left over from guys who are not here today, and you’re gonna have some other guys that won’t be here in the future that you’re still gonna have their cap count.”
