The reinforcements are here, and more are on the way.
The Texas Rangers activated third baseman Josh Jung and left-handed pitcher Cody Bradford from the injured list on Monday.
Jung was not listed in the club's starting lineup for tonight's game against the St. Louis Cardinals but is expected to be back in the fold on Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Jung's return to the lineup comes after he missed the last 102 games due to a fractured wrist he suffered while attempting to swing at a sinker thrown up and in the zone by Tampa Bay Rays reliever Phil Maton.
Jung, 26, went 4 for 12 in three games played with Double-A Frisco over the weekend.
Bradford returns after suffering what the club initially described as a lower back strain in mid-April that was later determined to be a rib fracture.
Bradford, 26, was 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA in his first three starts before landing on the IL.
Texas also re-called utility man Ezequiel Duran and right-handed reliever Gerson Garabito and placed Jon Gray on the 15-day IL with a strained right groin. Texas also transferred Evan Carter to the 60-day IL with a lumbar sprain, and optioned Justin Foscue, Jonathan Ornelas and catcher Andrew Kinizner to Triple-A Round Rock.
Infielder Davis Wendzel was designated for assignment and Austin Pruitt was released.
