If you’ve spent any time in South Florida listening to the radio, chances are you’ve heard Kenny Walker’s voice. For 31 years, Kenny has been waking up South Florida listeners, and for 27 of those years, he’s been the in-stadium announcer for the Miami Dolphins. Today, you can still hear him and Gaby every morning on 102.7 The Beach.
But this year, Kenny is taking on a very different kind of challenge.
In April, Kenny was diagnosed with cancer and began treatment at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He says he’s surrounded by the most amazing team of doctors, nurses, and caregivers — and now we want to build a team around him.
