Jerry, you’ll be surprised not all puppies come in with their moms. Jerry actually surrendered at Kershaw (a high kill rescue we partner with in South Carolina) with both of his pups, Toots & Tom. Tom was adopted fairly quickly while Toots spent some time in a foster home before being adopted. Since then, Jerry has been here at Paws with 0 interest whatsoever.
