The Texans on Tuesday afternoon announced a list of cuts for the 53-man roster.
Perhaps the biggest surprise cut was wide receiver Keke Coutee, entering his fourth season after being drafted by the Texans in the fourth round in 2018.
Also, veteran offensive lineman Marcus Cannon returned to the practice field, becoming a full participant for the first time since training camp. Cannon's return affects the Texans' depth at right tackle, where they've moved last year's starter Tytus Howard inside to left guard and had been starting second-year pro Charlie Heck.
