(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans are expected to pick at No. 3 overall in the NFL Draft, but also exploring a trade from No. 13 to get an another top-10 pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Texans general manager Nick Caserio told reporters last week it was likely they would make the third pick, while they could move up or down from No. 13. NFL Network's Jim Trotter reported Wednesday that it was a "99 percent chance" Houston picks at three, but "maybe 50-60% chance" at 13.
What are chances Houston uses both the 3rd & 13th picks? GM Nick Caserio tells me there's a 99% chance at 3 & a "maybe 50-60% chance" at 13. Has talked to 6-8 teams as part of due diligence. Open to going up as well as down depending on players still available from their board.

So the next logical question is who the Texans might be targeting in the top-10 after No. 3.
Speculation is running rampant.
At No. 3, the Texans could go with a pass rusher, whoever is left after Travon Walker, Aidan Hutchinson or Kayvon Thibodeaux. They could take offensive linemen Ickey Ewonu or Evan Neal. Or they could go with either cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, or safety Kyle Hamilton.
The wide receiver market is also interesting.
ESPN's Todd McShay was told wide receiver Garrett Wilson could be a target for Houston, as the New York Giants are looking to move out of pick No. 7, and the Seattle Seahawks open for business at pick No. 9.
Will the Texans trade out of the 3rd or 13th spot? Don't know. What we do know is GM Nick Caserio - since arriving in Jan. 2021 - has made 18 trades involving the acquisition or relinquishing of draft picks.
