“I think it's just a song where you're looking at your partner of a while, and you just don't really see it progressing any further and you just start noticing things that let you know that,” Wallen shares. “It's a little bit of a bittersweet feeling song. The music feels a little happy, but the message is overwhelmingly sad, which is something that's kind of a go-to for me.”
“Been By Now” was written by Wallen alongside Charlie Handsome, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass, Rocky Block and Taylor Phillips, with production by Joey Moi. Morgan first debuted the track at M&T Bank Stadium earlier this month.
Wallen will close out the summer with 2 dates at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, and 2 nights in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field.
