Give Bryce Harper credit: he doesn't really care what you think.
If he did, he wouldn't spend a rare off day at another D.C. sports venue cheering against the same fans and athletes who have shown him and the Washington Nationals nothing but love.
In fairness, he is cheering for his hometown Las Vegas Golden Knights, the only major professional sports team in Sin City, and a team that he has embraced since Day 1. Even so, it's fair to feel like he's snubbing D.C. in advance of his much-anticipated trip to free agency this offseason.
When the series schedule was announced and Game 4 was known to fall on a Nats off day, Harper booked his tickets and said he would be there in a Golden Knights jersey. On Monday, he made good on that promise and did a pretty good job of avoiding good photos. A few bad photos still ended up on Twitter:

June 5, 2018 Fortunately for D.C. sports fans, Harper isn't the only Nats player who cares about hockey, and Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman went way above and beyond to make up for it. They were named Fans of the Game and it's easy to see why:

June 5, 2018 That is pure, unadulterated, childlike joy. Every sports fan should feel like that. Good on Scherzer and Zimmerman for bringing balance to the force.
