Sports are particularly great because there is always the chance to see something very strange. And thanks to a matchup between two Big Ten minnows, the wacky was on full display.

After scoring a touchdown to go up 7-0, the Terps were kicking off into a stiff breeze. And unfortunately for Rutgers, the return men forgot to account for the wind.

Maryland only managed a field goal after taking over at the spot of the recovery, as the ball is declared dead when an onside kick is recovered by the kicking team.
