Evgeny Kuznetsov was lost for the Capitals in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final when he was hit hard by Brayden McNabb along the bench and boards area, late in the first period here at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
He immediately appeared to grab his wrist or lower arm area. Here is a video clip of the hit.

— Cristiano Simonetta (@CMS_74_) May 31, 2018He did not return for the rest of the first period or after, and was replaced on the top-line at center by Nick Backstrom, who is currently playing with Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson.
Capitals public relations, through their official Twitter account released a statement saying that Kuznetsov is questionable to return with an upper-body injury. Despite the designation, he did not return.
