Deep in hostile territory, Chris Baker appointed himself Agitator in Chief, clowning Lightning fans each time the Capitals scored on the road in Tampa for Game 1.
Much like during his time with the Redskins, his bombastic style got "Swaggy" lots of attention, including within the Caps' C-suite.
On Thursday, he became the Fan of the Game, leading fellow Caps fans in a chant of "Let's Go Caps" shortly before the puck dropped on Game 4.
With any luck, he can help the Caps catch...ahem...lightning in a bottle:

— Tarik El-Bashir⌨️---- (@TarikNBCS) May 18, 2018Swaggy has a level of comfort with scorched earth exits. After signing with Tampa, he told the media that he was upset with how the Redskins handled him in free agency. Rather than offering him a contract after he was a 16-game starter, they just let him go.
After one tumultuous season in Tampa, the Buccaneers cut ties and let him sign with the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency.
Now, after buying a house in Florida, Baker can take out any hurt feelings on fans of the local hockey team. Even if that means flying back to D.C. to do that.
