It was the most predictable storyline of the week, but it might be even worse than we imagined.
The Washington Redskins have been dead in the water for months, playing for a .500 season with what's left of the roster that started off 6-3. The fanbase is in revolt, the players are counting down to vacation, and even the prospects of playing to win on Sunday will leave some disappointed.
The Philadelphia Eagles need a win and a Chicago Bears victory over the Minnesota Vikings to propel them into the playoffs for a Super Bowl title defense. The Eagles are just a short drive up I-95 and many fans have off from work until Wednesday, creating a perfect storm for them to invade D.C.
They did just that, with some estimates of the crowd being as high as 80 percent Eagles fans. Here's a recap of the infestation:

December 30, 2018 And Eagles quarterback Nick Foles noticed the sea of Philadelphia green in the FedEx Field stands.
Nick Foles: “our fans are amazing. ... playing at the Linc, there’s nothing like it. But then to make THIS the Linc today? I mean the whole stadium was green.”
