The tribute was subtle, but a necessary reminder of the upcoming anniversary of Sean Taylor's untimely death.

Sunday is the last home game before the 11th anniversary of Taylor's murder (Nov. 27), and the Washington Redskins painted a No. 21 on the lawn outside of FedExField (H/T Jake Russell):

The Redskins play at home on Sunday and then travel on the road for a Thanksgiving game in Dallas on Thursday. Expect more tributes to come in the next two weeks, but this is a classy first step.

The only question is: should the Redskins make this more permanent?
