There are two verified user accounts on Twitter under the name of Ryan Grant. Neither of them belongs to recent free agent wide receiver Ryan Grant, who appears to not be on Twitter at all.
But one of those accounts does belong to one-time Redskins running back Ryan Grant, who has had a good time fielding everyone's emotions over the plight of his younger counterpart:
Another heartfelt DM from someone showing their support for my situation that I didn’t go through lol.

March 16, 2018 The elder Grant played one game for the Redskins in 2012, taking one handoff for five yards. Even acknowledging that this was an experience that he wasn't going through, fans of the younger Grant still wished him well and hoped that he would re-sign with the team.
It's like he can't convince people that he isn't the Ryan Grant that they're looking for. So at least he's having fun with it:
I did too. They can tricky, and somewhat physical . Ha, you see what I did there? RT @MrSkinnyArms: @AdamSchefter .@RyanGrant25 Man I really thought you’d nail that physical.

Perhaps the better (or worse) part is that the elder Grant, who has not played a down since 2012, is being mistaken for his rekindling his NFL aspirations:
Someone sent my cousin this earlier today “I read Ryan had a physical w. The ravens but ain't go so well. Hope he gets to get on tha field again.I thought he was done w. The sport. So it was good to hear but bittersweet” ..... it’s deeper than y’all thought

March 16, 2018 As the elder Grant noted, there's nothing wrong with welcoming someone to town, showing support for someone who is down. But if you really want your message to get to the right Ryan Grant, it's probably a good idea to check before you tag him in a tweet.
In other news, follow
@RyanGrant25 for a hilarious trip through the rest of free agency that he definitely isn't experiencing.
