Mother's Day is just around the corner and for those of you still unsure of what you're doing for mom, here is some advice: A car is always nice.
And write something nice, too. It doesn't have to be poetry or something grandiose, just a few lines in your own words about Mom and you'll be fine. She wants to hear from you, just put a few words down. Whatever you do, don't rely on the card makers to do all the heavy lifting for you. They're not her child, you are.
Also, you don't even have to wait for May 12, which is Mother's Day this year in case you weren't aware. You too can be like Richardson and do something nice for mom right now.
First thing: Call your mom today. It is the simplest nicest thing you can do.
Go do it.
