Washington Redskins defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis is questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, head coach Jay Gruden announced Friday.
Ioannidis, who missed Monday night's defeat to the Eagles, is dealing with a injuries to his shin and calf, but Gruden is hopefully he can return to the lineup Sunday.
"We're going to check him out a little bit (Saturday) and then right before the game, we will check him out and see how he's feeling," Gruden said. "He's got a bruise down there that's pretty deep. He's seen a couple of specialists and I think we'll have to wait and see."
Washington will be without linebacker Ryan Anderson (hamstring) and guard Tony Bergstrom (knee/ankle), in addition to quarterback Colt McCoy.
The Redskins also listed wide receiver Josh Doctson (hip), linebacker Zach Brown (illness), and center Chase Roullier (knee) as questionable.
Tuesday the Redskins placed WR Trey Quinn, guard Jonathan Cooper, and defensive back Quinton Dunbar on injured reserve.
Washington got a boost Saturday when the Giants announced wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was downgraded to out.
