Williams had surgery to repair an injured thumb and is week-to-week. Ty Nsekhe will start for the Redskins at left tackle.

The Redskins announced that wide receiver Jamison Crowder and running back Chris Thompson (ribs) will also be unable to play Sunday. This will be the fourth-straight game Crowder has missed due to an ankle injury. This marks a return to the sideline for Thompson, who missed Week 6 and Week 7, before playing Week 8 against the Giants, when he managed five touches for 22 yards.

Wide receiver Paul Richardson (shoulder/knee), running back Adrian Peterson (shoulder), safety Montae Nicholson (hip), running back Kapri Bibbs (shoulder), and linebacker Ryan Anderson (knee) are all questionable.

Gruden also announced that newly acquired safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will make his Redskin debut and split time with Nicholson and Deshazor Everett.
