The Washington Redskins are on their fourth quarterback of the season, but Josh Johnson isn't playing like anybody's fourth choice against the Titans.

On the first third down of the game, Johnson floated a lovely pass to Jamison Crowder.

That led to a 50-yard Dustin Hopkins field goal.

On the Redskins third possession, after facing a 2nd-and-27, Johnson ran away from the Titans blitz to find an open Josh Doctson and convert on third down.

Oh, Just Joshing. Very nice play Johnson to Doctson to convert on 3rd down. #Redskins #HTTR #WASvsTEN pic.twitter.com/9A3vTF5Cls

Tremendous job by Josh Johnson to immediately sprint away from pressure. Doctson stuck with his route and made himself available. Good catch and somehow the Redskins got out of 2nd and 27.

The drive was an absolute masterclass at ball control offense and was capped off by a 7-yard Johnson TD toss to Michael Floyd.

Didn't quite realise just how tight this throw was for Johnson to Floyd on the TD. Good catch by Floyd pic.twitter.com/q4v1Q0wQpe

I have not been more taken aback by a #Redskins drive in 2018. That was stunning. Peterson was an animal and Josh Johnson was sensational.

Josh Johnson led the 2nd-longest drive (10:58 time of possession) in the NFL this season, behind only Carson Wentz and the Eagles in Week 3 (11:18)#HTTR

Josh Johnson was 6-for-6 for 70 yards on that drive that spanned 99 yards.

In the second half, Johnson continued to perform well finding tight windows and moving the ball down field.

Josh Johnson with a nice throw into a tight window. Some of the best QB play the #Redskins have seen this season, if we're honest. pic.twitter.com/HFRjAVFMww

Josh Johnson has turned in the #Redskins' best performance by a QB all season. This is crazy. Can he finish? Nine minutes left.
