The Washington Redskins announced the signing of linebacker Marquis Flowers Wednesday to fill vacant roster spot.
Flowers, who was released by Detroit in October, will take D.J. Swearinger's roster spot after the safety was released Monday by head coach Jay Gruden.
The Redskins also announced the addition of two wide receivers, Carlos Henderson and ArDarius Stewart, to the practice squad.
Henderson a third round pick in the 2017 NFL draft by Denver has yet to appear in a game. Stewart made 15 appearances in 2017 with the Jets and tallied six catches for 82 yards.
