Redskins guard Brandon Scherff will sign his $15M franchise tag tender, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Redskins’ three-time Pro Bowl G Brandon Scherff is signing his $15-plus million franchise tender, per source. It will require him to be at training camp - if there is training camp.

The Redskins placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Scherff, 28, which allows the two parties to work out an extension.
Washington will have until 4 p.m. ET on July 15 to get a long-term deal done with Scherff. After that deadline passes, all extensions will be tabled until the upcoming offseason.
If the two parties are unable to come to an agreement, Redskins fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Scherff will at least be in burgundy and gold for another season.
