The NFL Draft is now just three weeks away. Scot McCloughan was hired by the Cleveland Browns to be a draft advising specialist, but he took a few hours out of his busy schedule to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

Not connecting the dots, but it probably didn't hurt that they were playing the Washington Wizards.

McCloughan, who became well known for his camouflage Redskins hat while a member of the Washington front office, rocked a pretty standard Browns hat as he watched the game alongside his wife, Jessica.

Especially in light of yesterday's report about Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder inside Redskins Park, it's ironic (or perhaps just coincidental) to see McCloughan pop up again so soon. Chris Russell's report casts doubt on the Teflon reputation that McCloughan left D.C. with, but it's hard to imagine that both sides don't share some blame for the awkward way that his role ended in Washington.

Either way, it's nice to see McCloughan enjoying a night out of the office. It was not so nice of an evening for the Wizards, who fell 115-119.
