Tight end is one of the most talked-about position groups on the Redskins that needs to be addressed.
The Burgundy and Gold
released Jordan Reed earlier in the offseason and Vernon Davis decided to hang up his cleats.
The Redskins
signed two veterans deeper into free agency, bringing on Richard Rodgers and Logan Thomas, but neither signing is the long-term answer at tight end.
After 255 picks went by during the 2020 NFL Draft, however, they decided to bring on a prospect who could have a bright future in the nation's capital: LSU's
Thaddeus Moss.
While several mock drafts had Moss, 6'3", being selected as a Day 3 pick, his name was never called. It was then made public that his draft stock slipped due to a foot injury that required surgery that kept him from working out at the Scouting Combine in February.
In his lone season in Baton Rouge, Moss racked up 47 catches for 570 yards and four touchdowns.
Moss, the son of Hall-of-Famer Randy Moss, will get his opportunity in the District of Columbia.
If Thaddeus Moss makes the Redskins roster, Adrian Peterson will have played alongside both him and his dad.

April 25, 2020 Assuming his rehab goes according to plan, Moss will get the opportunity to land on the Redskins 53-man roster before the season begins later this year.
Great tight ends are hard to come by, but on occasion, they do slip through the cracks.
Antonio Gates didn't hear his name called in the 2003 NFL Draft, but he'll surely hear it called in Canton very soon.
Shannon Sharpe slipped to the seventh round in 1990, and he stuck around for quite some time.
Moss will get his chance to show 31 other NFL franchises exactly who they missed out on.
This isn't an underdog story ⌛️
