March 14, 2018 The three-year deal is valued at $21 million, but Murphy can earn up to $30 million in bonuses. That's an average annual value of $7 million for Murphy, who missed all of 2017 on a torn ACL and PED suspension.
Former Washington DE Trent Murphy intends to sign a 3-year, $21 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, per source.

March 14, 2018 Murphy's last healthy season -- 2016 -- was a career-year. He tallied nine sacks and 29 total tackles.
The 27-year-old pass rusher was a second-round draft pick (Stanford) by the Redskins in 2014.
A trend in free agency: Having a down contract year doesn’t destroy value. Trent Murphy had a PED suspension AND a torn ACL and still got paid.
