Once again Kirk Cousins tossed something out into the world only to see it run back the other way on him.
The Minnesota Vikings quarterback just wanted give away some stuff to fans. Instead, he got roasted on Twitter by disappointed Vikings fans.
Cousins, who signing an eye-popping 3-year, $84 million guaranteed contract after leaving the Washington Redskins, had a disappointing first year in Minnesota. The Vikings went from an NFC title game appearance with Case Keenum to missing the playoffs and a 7-8-1 record with Cousins and fans let him have it.
How about you give the Vikings back $33 mil

Some of that CAP SPACE
— Ricky (@ErikStuder) February 13, 2019One fan asked specifically for clearing cap space to help protect Cousins, who was sacked 40 times last season.
Half of your guaranteed contract so the team can sign a quality tackle to protect you
— Ryan A. Conlin (@ThatConlinKid) February 13, 2019Another told the quarterback, who carries a cap hit of $29 million in 2019 and $31 million in 2020, he's given away enough things already after tossing 10 interceptions and losing seven fumbles.
You had enough giveaways during the season, we don't need anymore
— Bobby Petchal (@bpetch45) February 12, 2019Ouch.
Cold up there in Minnesota, eh Kirk?
