Washington Wizards forward Devin Robinson was arrested early Saturday morning after a fight with a member of the Philadelphia Eagles outside a D.C. nightclub.
Robinson was taken to Sibley Hospital for treatment before being released and taken to the D.C. police department's 2nd District station. Mills was also held.
The Wizards released a terse statement Saturday, stating Robinson will not be returning to Washington for his third season.
“We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions. We will not extend him a qualifying offer for the 2019-20 season,” the team said.
Robison, a free agent, came to the Wizards as an undrafted free agent in 2017 after playing three seasons at the University of Florida. The 6-foot-8, 240-pound forward missed most of last season due to injury and has spent the majority of his time with the Wizards' minor league squad, the Capital City Go-Go. Robinson made just eight NBA appearances with Washington.
