The Washington Redskins announced three players are out and a pair of important defenders are questionable for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.
The Redskins secondary will already be without corner Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who was placed on Injured Reserve Wednesday after sustaining a leg injury against Dallas. Outside linebacker Noah Spence was singed to replace him on the 53-man roster.
Chicago has declared defensive tackle Bilal Nichols (hand) as out and listed tight end Trey Burton (groin), safety Eddie Jackson (shoulder), offensive tackle Kyle Long (hip), and kicker Eddy Piñeiro (oblique/knee) as questionable.
Piñeiro, who kicked a game-winning 53-yard field goal for the Bears in Week 2, is expected to play after injuring himself during the week in the weight room. If he is unable to kick, Chicago may turn to punter Pat O'Donnell, head coach Matt Nagy said.
