For one day only: The Montreal Expos were back!
The Washington Nationals, who arrived from Quebec for the 2005 MLB season, honored the inaugural Expos of 1969 with throwback uniforms Saturday. The Nats opponents, the Kansas City Royals, also joined in on the 50-year throwback sporting some old-school threads as well.
Before the game Hall of Famer and Montreal legend Vladimir Guerrero threw out the ceremonial first pitch with Nationals manager and former Expos Davey Martinez doing the catching.
