Bruce Allen was a very determined man.

Yes, the president of the Washington Redskins was determined to sell his McLean, Va. mansion, and placed it back on the market for at least the sixth time since 2011.

The 10,500-square foot home was listed at $3.475 million –  just $25,000 more than what Allen paid for the Virginia property in 2010, according to Fairfax County records.

And on Sept. 12, 2019, the home was closed and sold for $3.2 million, per the Los Angeles Times.

The two-story house built in 2006 sits on just under an acre lot and comes with a four-car garage and has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, with a master suite featuring dual closets, dual bathrooms, a lounge, and a private balcony. A covered, private balcony, fireplace and sitting area completes the master suite.

Upstairs there is also a Redskins-themed bedroom with some interesting decorations.

The house features a fully finished lower level with a home theater, exercise room, full wet bar/kitchen area, Billiards area, and walk out to backyard flagstone patio with fire pit hardscape.

All within a forty-minute drive of Redskins Park.

UPDATE: The six-bedroom, 10 bathroom (seven full, three half), three fireplace mansion is now "under contract," according to the listing as of Aug. 15, 2019.

UPDATE: The original gallery on Allen's home was published July 10, 2019, when the house was first on the market.

Agent Mark McFadden of Compass holds the listing.
