Nationals fans "have been everywhere."
In their 14th season of having a team to call their own, and perhaps their last being able to witness Bryce Harper on a daily basis, Nationals fans are traveling, and the team is noticing.
"Love seeing the Nats fans invade Baltimore, but the Nats fans have been everywhere," GM Mike Rizzo told The Junkies during his weekly 106.7 The Fan appearance, sponsored by Burke & Herbert Bank. "We had a huge contingent in Miami."
"Each place on the road, I see every year that there's more and more Nats gear walking on the streets and in the ballpark, and (they're) very noisy," he said. "You see when Harp hit a home run last night, the crowd was really, really loud for the Nationals. You gotta love that."
Indeed. When Bryce Harper hit his National League-leading 17th home run in the first inning Tuesday night, a solo shot off Orioles starter Dylan Bundy, cheers erupted at Camden Yards.

— Washington Nationals (@Nationals) May 29, 2018"The Nats fans are traveling heavy and it really has a positive effect on the players," Rizzo said. "They love it and you could tell by the record that we have on the road."
The Nats are 19-8 on the road in 2018, even more successful than their 12-14 home record.
On Memorial Day, especially, Nationals jerseys were aplenty at the yard.
Fans from Washington, the city that Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos once said has “no real baseball fans,” took over Camden Yards on Memorial Day. The Nats noticed. https://t.co/U2bX7jq5lb
