With the Nats down to their final out in the eighth, trailing Milwaukee 3-1, Juan Soto delivered a 2-RBI single that, with an unexpected Trent Grisham fielding error in right field, netted Washington three runs and a 4-3 lead.
Then Daniel Hudson came in to lock it down for the Nats in the ninth, earning the save and Washington a trip to the NLDS.
