
In 2014, Asdrubal Cabrera was a mid-season acquisition by the Nationals, Washington bringing in the veteran to provide some infield depth.
And five years later, history is repeating itself.
Cabrera didn't put up great numbers in his first stint in D.C., batting .229 with five home runs in 49 games after being brought in from Cleveland. However, this time around Cabrera likely won't be asked to start as many games as he did in 2014.
And "second time's the charm" as the saying goes, right?
