Daniel Hudson is on paternity leave, not here for Game 1. Hunter Strickland is off the roster. Javy Guerra and Roenis Elias have been added to the bullpen.

October 11, 2019 Daniel Hudson was placed on the Postseason Paternity List. In his absence, Wander Suero will be an active member of the Nats' NLCS roster. Hudson will be allowed to be away from the Club for a minimum of one day and a maximum of three days, then take Suero’s place on the roster.

October 11, 2019 Hudson will likely rejoin the Nats in St. Louis for Game 2 on Saturday.
Everything went great with the birth of Daniel Hudson’s third child, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
