Nationals_Park_Rain_Delay
Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

As Nationals Park continues to get pelted with heavy rainfall, the Nationals have pushed back the start of their series against the Dodgers in favor of a doubleheader the next day.

The Nats and Dodgers will play a split doubleheader on Saturday, May 19. The game originally scheduled for Friday (5/18) at 7:05 p.m. will be played first, at 2:05 p.m.

The second game -- Saturday's regularly scheduled game -- will begin at 8:05 p.m. The two games require separate admission.

All tickets for Friday's game will be honored for the rescheduled game at 2:05. All gates for the 8:05 game will open 1.5 hours after the last out of the 2:05 game, or at 7 p.m. (whichever is later).

Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for any other 2018 regular season game, excluding the July 2-4 games against the Boston Red Sox. More info here.

The Nationals have not played an entire game since Sunday's 6-4 win at Arizona. The first of their two-game home series against the Yankees was suspended for rain in the sixth inning, rescheduled as a doubleheader the next day, and then both Tuesday and Wednesday's games were eventually rescheduled for Monday, June 18.
