The Nationals lost to the Braves 4-3 in 10 innings Sunday, but Austin Voth had a good afternoon on the mound.
Voth tossed six innings of two-run ball, striking out seven Braves in his first MLB start of the 2019 season.
And after the game, the Nats made a roster move, optioning Erick Fedde to Triple-A Fresno.
Nationals have optioned Erick Fedde to Fresno, which would seem to suggest Austin Voth is staying in the rotation.

June 24, 2019 Fedde took over as Washington's fifth starter when Jeremy Hellickson was placed on the 10-day injured list with a shoulder injury. In six starts, Fedde went 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA.
But after his performance Sunday, it appears Voth has taken Fedde's spot in the rotation.
