An MRI on Koda Glover revealed a right forearm strain, the Nationals relief pitcher told reporters Tuesday.
Koda Glover said he has a forearm strain, MRI showed his elbow ligament is “great.” Will shut it down for now to be careful, but “I think I’ll be ready for the season, no doubt.”

The 25-year old experienced elbow tightness in a Grapefruit League game Sunday and underwent the MRI Monday afternoon. Glover expects to be ready for the start of the regular season.
Glover missed significant time each of the last two seasons dealing with injuries to his back and shoulder, and given his history, he may be shut down for the majority of spring training.
Thankfully, Glover said his UCL feels "great," shutting down any fears he'd have to undergo Tommy John surgery. Glover already had the procedure once during his collegiate baseball career.
Koda Glover’s MRI revealed a right forearm strain, but he says his UCL feels great. Doesn’t seem too concerned, just being smart about it. Thinks he’ll be ready for the start of the season
