The Washington Nationals were in fine form in Game 1 of the World Series and earned a 5-4 comeback win.

And, as always, Charlie Slowes and Dave Jageler on the Nationals radio broadcast (which can be heard for the entire World Series on 106.7 FM) were in fine form as well.

Despite the rocky start for ace Max Scherzer, the Nats were able to provide plenty of highlights: Ryan Zimmerman's early homer, all of Juan Soto's heroics, and then the stellar job by Daniel Hudson and Sean Doolittle to slam the door and steal the series opener.
Charlie and Dave have already had some memorable calls this season: The Wild Card winGame 5 over the Dodgers in the NLDS, and then completing the sweep of the Cardinals.
