— Washington Nationals (@Nationals) April 10, 2018While it's unclear when Eaton suffered the injury, he exited last Thursday's game against the Mets early after an awkward slide into home plate. Although, he's played in two games since, including all 12 innings Sunday against the Mets. Eaton missed most of 2017 with a torn ACL in his left knee.
Nationals say Eaton has been scratched with a bone bruise in his left ankle, the same ankle that forced him to sit Saturday, though that was supposedly due to scar tissue dislodging.
