The Washington Redskins are facing an uphill climb against the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.
Sunday will mark McCoy's first start since he broke his leg on Monday Night Football in Dec. 2018 in Philadelphia. McCoy, who is in his fifth year with the organization, has made six starts and 10 appearances with a 93.6 rating with the Redskins.
Although Washington will be without their top two tight ends, they did receive a boost as top wide receiver
Terry McLaurin was deemed healthy enough to play after missing last Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury.
Redskins Inactives:
Quarterback Case Keenum
Tight end Vernon Davis
Tight end Jordan Reed
Guard Brandon Scherff
Cornner Aaron Colvin
Center Ross Pierschbacher
Linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons
And well, to make matters worse, history doesn't favor the home team.
Patriots (4-0) at Redskins (0-4)We haven’t seen an 0-4 team upset a 4-0 team since the Packers beat the Cowboys in 1975.@NFL @NFLResearch
