Brett Connolly's biggest fan was front and center to greet the Capitals forward on the red carpet Wednesday night.
That's right: it's Keelan Moxley, better known as "Puck Girl!"
If you're not familiar with the legend of Puck Girl, it goes something like this. Moxley was in attendance with her family at a Caps playoff game against Columbus Blue Jackets in April, and was banging on the glass for Connolly to give her a puck during warm-ups.
Connolly did his best, but the taller boys next to her got the first two pucks he tossed over the glass. But as the saying goes, third time's the charm.
That's one special #StanleyCup Playoff moment. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/Jr9RGqFPGh
— NHL (@NHL) April 16, 2018During the Stanley Cup Final, Moxley was back at Capital One Arena, and got to see Connolly score in the Caps' Game 4 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
