There's always next year.

And one day, perhaps soon, next year will be the present.

While the future for the Washington Redskins remains as uncertain as ever, the teams they will face in the 2020 NFL season are not. After the Skins defeat to the New York Giants Sunday guaranteed them last place in the NFC East, Washington's final two opponents were locked in.

For the 2020 season, the Redskins will play, in addition to their divisional foes, the AFC North and NFC West, and the last-placed teams this year from the NFC South and NFC North.

Without further ado, 2020 Redskins home opponents:

Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals

Carolina Panthers

Los Angeles Rams

Seattle Seahawks

Dallas Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles

New York Giants

2020 Redskins road opponents:

Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers

Detroit Lions

Arizona Cardinals

San Francisco 49ers

Cowboys

Eagles

Giants

The order of the games will not be set until April, but there is still plenty of times for fans to start thinking about which opponent they might want to see at FedEx Field or on the road.

You get to pick one #Redskins home game and one road game to go to next year. Which do you choose?Home: Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, Bengals, Panthers, Rams, Ravens, Seahawks.Away: Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, 49ers, Browns, Cardinals, Lions, Steelers.
