Redskins guard Brandon Scherff may have suffered a torn pectoral muscle, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.

Scherff and right guard Shawn Lauvao (knee) are both undergoing MRIs on Monday.

#Redskins stellar guard Brandon Scherff is believed to have suffered a torn pec based on the initial diagnosis, sources say. He has an MRI today, but would be a significant loss.

It's worth noting Rapoport, back in August, was first to report running back Derrius Guice suffered a sprained MCL, when an MRI later showed he had, in fact, suffered a season-ending ACL tear.

Kareem Copeland of The Post reports Washington hosted six free agent offensive linemen for workouts at Redskins Park on Monday.

Scherff went down in the third quarter, wincing and grabbing his chest/shoulder area

The Redskins were already down starting left tackle Trent Williams, who had thumb surgery last week and is expected to miss close to a month, entering Sunday's game. Ty Nsekhe started the game at left tackle, but would eventually slide over to play left guard once Scherff went down. Chase Roullier remained at center, while Tony Bergstrom moved to right guard and rookie Geron Christian made his NFL debut at left tackle. Morgan Moses, who went down early in the game with a knee injury, had returned to right tackle well before that point.

Lauvao went down early in the first quarter with an apparent knee injury and did not return.

LT Trent Williams isn't playing today. LG Shawn Lauvao went down with a left knee injury on the first drive. Now, RT Morgan Moses is down. Feel free to hit that panic button. This is 2017-level nonsense. #Redskins

The Redskins' offensive line is being decimated, a repeat of 2017. They're already minus Trent Williams perhaps for a month. In the first quarter, guard Shawn Lauvao was taken off on a wheelchair and Morgan Moses limped off the field. That leaves them... https://t.co/NmMc4ZlRHY
